ABOUT YOUR SITE/FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
CONNECTION TO ELECTRICITY
The Povey’s Food Truck connects to single phase power (standard residential connection) and I will need to connect to your power supply. We do not use a generator.
SUITABILITY OF SITE
A flat site (preferably concreted area), ease of access to enter and exit the site (please do not park the Povey’s truck in).
AREA TO SERVE
Please let us know if you have serving tables or require Povey’s to bring our own.
WHAT WE CAN SUPPLY
Povey’s provides a self-service style catering with biodegradable disposable plates, napkins and serving utensils. We also have crockery for use at extra charge if this is your preference. Contact Povey’s today.
CAN YOU PROVIDE STAFF TO HELP SERVE?
We can provide staff to serve at an extra charge. For self-catering we will run the food to a share table for guests to help themselves and come around to clean as the event progresses.
DO YOU COME OUT TO MARKETS?
Our weekends are booked out with functions or pre-organised bookings with our good friends at Bulla Creek Brewing Co. Please contact us to see if we can fit you in around our busy work, life balance.
DO YOU COME OUT TO PARTIES OR EVENTS WITHOUT NEEDING TO PAY THE BOOKING FEE?
No. The booking fee covers a proportion of guests (depending on your numbers) at your next event. The booking fee helps to ensure our small business maintains basic costs like insurances, fuel and produce costs. It also includes our time to prepare the food ahead of your booking.
DO YOU CATER FOR PEOPLE WITH DIETARY REQUIREMENTS?
Yes we do. Our surfaces may contain traces of dairy and other potential allergens such as shellfish. Due to the single oven space, our surfaces will contain traces of gluten. Therefore it is up to the individual to determine the potential risk.
Notwithstanding that, we can do diary free, vegetarian and vegan options on request. Povey’s makes our wheaten pizza doughs from scratch. We can pre-arrange gluten free options for those with an
intolerance.
We don’t do gluten free options during our weekly service at Proctor Park unless organised well in advance. Please email in advance (1 to 2 weeks) to allow us to organise this with our stockists.
